Corrections policy

Clear, dependable directions matter. When a recipe error or meaningful ambiguity is found, The Butter and Bloom reviews the complete recipe rather than changing one sentence in isolation.

What is reviewed

The ingredient list is compared with every direction, quantities and preparation terms are checked, and the cooking method, timing, doneness cues, storage guidance and food-safety notes are reviewed together.

How corrections are handled

Typographical fixes may be made without a note. A meaningful change to ingredients, temperature, timing, yield or method is reflected in the page’s updated date. Dates are not changed merely to make a recipe appear new.

Reader reports

Reader observations are welcome, especially when they identify the exact step, equipment used and result. A report is a prompt for review; it is not automatically treated as proof that every kitchen will produce the same result.
